IDENTITY FORMATION IN THE CONTEMPORARY EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM: CHALLENGES AND THREATS

The issue of identity is an essence of contemporary philosophy, sociology, cultural studies, and psychology. Identity is understood as a relatively stable conception of “who I am?” and “who we are?”, which structures individual and collective experience and determines the horizons of belonging, responsibility, and mutual trust. The article examines the multidimensional nature of identity formation
in modern education, outlines key risks associated with hybrid threats, information warfare, cyberattacks, psychological and social vulnerabilities, and highlights the role of teachers and educational policy in safeguarding identity and cognitive security.
